Royce Johns Duo

Royce John Schwienebart, better known as Royce Johns, is a husband, father, guitarist, and singer-songwriter from Iowa who has spent the past decade honing his craft on stage and in the studio. Over the years, he has opened for renowned acts including Sammy Kershaw, Deana Carter, Sawyer Brown, Collin Raye, Aaron Tippin, Eric Paslay, The Cadillac Three, Trick Pony, Walker McGuire, Sunny Sweeney, and Arlo McKinley. After releasing an EP and two albums featuring co-writes and songs from other writers (Truckstop Souvenirs in 2018 and One Last Two Step in 2020), he was encouraged by producer Caleb Elliott to record his own songs, leading to his 2023 release Thank Ya Kindly. With deep roots in Iowa and an ever-growing passion for music, Johns continues to build his career while staying grounded in the community that has supported him from the start.
